According
to the writer, the best way of learning about life is through personal
experience than accepting other’s advice. There are major two reasons: the
first, people are not likely to feel impressive about the advice because they
are mostly based on the different lifestyle or way of thought. The second, the
self- esteem makes people hard to accept other’s opinion because they try to
persist their own way in life. I agreed with the writher’s thoughts. This is
because the impression from my own experience is greater than other’s
experience so that people can learn about life more directly. I think that the experience
is extremely worth having and can give them useful things.

< Two ways of learning about life>
Some people believe that the best way of learning about life is by listening to the advice of family or friends. Other people believe that the best way of learning about life is through personal experience. The both sides of the arguments have many advantages and disadvantages.
The main advantage of way of listening to the advice is that you can get some kind of useful things about life without risk and you can make choice about what you do with reliable advice. Especially, the parents in the family already might have had experiences the situation in their youth. Then, they could give us some helpful answers about the question. On the other hand, one big advantage of way of having personal experience is that you can get detailed information and direct learning by having experience. Maybe, someone could fear the danger of learning about life. However, whether the experience is good or bad, the situation could make you know that the experience is practical advice. On the contrary, there are some disadvantages. The main disadvantage of way of listening to the advice is that you cannot correctly understand the situation of life. In my opinion, I prefer to have personal experience because I want to know the situation more correctly. I think that the way is more proper to me than just listening to advice. For example, I like to work in exciting job directly and I usually apply to the job without getting some advice. The job can be hard and tough to me, but I think it is worth having experience.

<I like the book "Harry Potter">
I’m recently reading a book in English entitled
Harry Potter, one of the most famous fantasy
fiction that I’ve ever heard. It was written by Joanne K. Rowling, preeminent English
author, and constitutes seven volumes. In addition to published novel, it was
made into a film from 2001 to 2012, divided into eight versions. (What I’m
reading today is the fourth version named ‘The Goblet of the Fire’ in 2000.) Having
actually watched all the films which are completed, until last year, I also feel
interested in the book published before the films were made. Even if there are
a couple of reasons why I like this, here I want to introduce only one reason.
First of all, I attempt to read something written in easy English these days
for studying that, finding Harry Potter as
I’ve well known the narrative plot. Frankly, It’s not easier for me, than I
thought, to understand all the phrase, sentence, and detail, because of the
expression – in this case, though I depend on the dictionary, having difficult
to see ‘nuance’ or ‘feeling’ - which I’ve never seen. However, there’s no
problem to me because I can anticipate, through the films, where the narrative will
to flow toward. I’m sure, in this reason, it can be helpful to study English
more. That is why I like this novel.

The small Jesus music culture expanded into a multi-million-dollar industry by the 1980s. Beginning in July 1978, CCM Magazine began covering “Contemporary Christian Music” artists and a wide range of spiritual themes until it launched online publications in 2009.
<The history of Contemporary Christian
Music> link to original source
Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) is a genre of modern popular
music which is lyrically focused on matters concerned with the Christian Faith.
Today, the term is typically used to refer to pop, rock or praise & worship
styles. There are lots of sub- genres: Christian punk, Christian hardcore,
Christian metal and Christian hip hop.
CCM appeared as a result of the Jesus movement revival in the latter
1960s and early 1970s when many young people professed to believe in Jesus. It
was during the 1970s Jesus movement that Christian music started to become an
industry and Jesus music with instruments expressed love and peace. At that time,
a church music was influenced by rock- style music. The style will become more
familiar to all people. In the 1960s, there were Christian albums that contained
contemporary-sounding songs. The first “Jesus rock” album is Upon This Rock by Larry Norman and the
second is Mylon – We Believe by Mylon
LeFevre, which was an attempt at blending gospel music with southern rock. The small Jesus music culture expanded into a multi-million-dollar industry by the 1980s. Beginning in July 1978, CCM Magazine began covering “Contemporary Christian Music” artists and a wide range of spiritual themes until it launched online publications in 2009.

REPORT ON HOW TO BE KINDER TO ENVIRONMENTS
In recent years, our environments
having been destroyed anywhere the people live and there are many significant
environmental problems. What can the students or Chongshin University do to be
kinder to environments? There are the problems and recommendations.
Main
problems
1. In the University, there
are many trash cans. However, most students are not likely to separate the
trash before throwing it away.
2. The Professors and
students are likely to use more the automobiles than public transports.
3. In the summer or winter,
many people in the University unnecessarily use much of the energy by working
often air-conditioning or heater.
Recommendations
1. We need to separate the
trash. If we use tumbler or mug, much trash could be diminished.
2. We need to use the public
transports when we come in the University. Although we could feel
uncomfortable, the method could help to decrease the air pollution.
3. We need to reduce the
electric energy. With the rising cost of energy, we might consider using more
energy-efficient equipment.

The
most interesting lecture in this semester is Introduction to the Foundation Special
Education.
The reason is that this lecture let me know the exact meaning of the definition of the Special Children and Education. The students could participate in the class by giving presentations or discussing their thoughts with the Professor about the class. Freely discoursing or a good mood is to me very exciting.
We have to reflect on lesson of the day online and the reflection papers are shared with other students by commenting on them. The professor gives us the various experiences and I could better understand the filed or the phenomenon of the Special Education. Recently, we have to hand out the report. We need to watch the program that introduces the best special education teacher and write about teaching methods used by him. During preparing it, I could know that theory and practice are closely related and what useful methods are.
I also think that the curriculum and teaching method of the professor are extremely helpful and valuable. He not only teaches the students the theory but also make us think that in the society, the special children must be cared for. That’s why I think the lecture is the most interesting thing.

REVIEW
OF THE LECTURE “HOW TO GROW THE FRESH AIR” link to the video
The
speaker of the lecture was Kamal Meattle who lived in India. He had a problem of lung capacity because
of the allergic to Delhi’s air and he decided to study plants in order to
recover Delhi’s air. With the help of IIT, TERI and learning from NASA, they
discovered that there were three basic green plants, with which they can grow all
the fresh air in the old building.
The
amazing results are that they can reduce energy requirements in the building because
they need less fresh air and increase human productivity by over 20% by using
these plants. They can discover that there is a reduced incidence of eye irritation
by 52%, respiratory systems by 34%, headaches by 24%, lung impairment by 12%
and asthma by 9%.
I
want to recommend this lecture. What do you actually know about importance of
air? I felt that we have to recognize the importance during watching it and need
to practice the simple methods after watching it. Try to implement the changes
by bringing amazing plants indoors.

I admire Maria Montessori
I admire Maria Montessori who was originator of the Montessori method of education for preschool children. She was the first woman to receive a medical degree in Italy. I think that she was the great woman because at that time, It was hard for women to have right to learn at university. She worked with subnormal children as a psychiatrist at the University of Rome. It was there that she pioneered in the instruction of retarded children, especially through the use of an environment rich in manipulative materials. She thought that this method could be made in the education of normal preschool children. The chief components of the Montessori method are self-motivation and auto-education. This method is also very useful and meaningful at the present. After I was interested in education, I thought that education was very important for society and individual. And then I accidentally knew method of her in a book. That was extremely exciting method. She must have thought that a child will learn naturally and the teacher acts as an observer and only interferes as needed. I also agree the surprising method. She tried to reverse the traditional education system and for ages the Montessori method has been authorized. The method of Maria Montessori is a groundbreaking idea. This is why I admire Maria Montessori.

Review: 아빠, 어디가? (Dad, where are we going?)
A Korean TV program 아빠, 어디가? is recently a extremely popular TV program. Have you ever heard this program? It is very entertaining and moving.
What the program is about family journey that many families, specially a dad and his son or daughter, go to somewhere together. Every week, they go trip to Korean various rural areas. This journey is affective to viewers because viewers always wish to tour for funny life. And the viewers can feel enjoyable and excited by just watching it. As you know, Korean feels that a dad is taciturn and blunt person. And in family, dad and his child keep awkward silence. In order to improve this relationship, this surprising program appears. So I think that it is such a good and thankful program for them. Dads can not only feel love and special feelings but also understand thought of their children by touring with them. They will never forget the wonderful time they had together. This program 아빠 어디가? is a great family entertainment.
My only worrying is that the children in program might feel difficult to live their life. Many viewers pay attention to them and focus on their real life. And they can feel uncomfortable. The love and attention of this program are fine, but I think that a private life of the children must be protected.
All the same, watch this program and you will feel so fun and expect the happening about next week’ journey.

Hi! Bloggers!
I’m telling you that I had a special tour.
2 years ago, in summer, I visited Europe because I did the DTS(Disciple
training school) in Switzerland. So I could tour surrounding states. And I went
to Paris, Milano, Rome after school. They were so beautiful and amazing.
Among them, I want to talk about Rome. This
city is very famous for historic site. I was there for 4 days. And I had
various plans and went to the site such as The Colosseum, The Vatican, Trevi fountain
etc. The sites all were very fantastic and antique. The first, The Vatican is the city that is the centre of the Roman Catholic Church. And there is a big museum. I felt that the Vatican is a majestic city though it is the world’s smallest city.
< The colosseum in Rome>
Second, The Colosseum is shaped like an oval. It is a huge amphitheater. This photo was taken in Palatino hill that is placed by The Colosseum. If you are planning
a trip to Italy, don’t’ forget to visit the awesome Colosseum.
<Trevi fountain in Rome>
The extremely beautiful
historic site is Trevi fountain. It is another famous symbol of Rome. I was told
that this fountain is much more beautiful at night than day. So I went to go
there about pm.8, and I didn’t believe that I was here in such a wonderful
site. Rome really has many attractive atmospheres.
I wish to visit Rome
again. I can never forget the memorable trip!! If you travel Rome, you may have a good time!!

I have joined the GBS(Group Bible Study) in church since last year.
A 'GBS' group consists of about 10 members who want to more learn bible and share their thought about bible. The reason why I join the group is that I also wish have a deep relationship in church and share my though.
We always meet together after church service and start to have a conversation each other. We share thoughts about the day's sermon. During the time, it is so meaningful and valuable.
Sometimes we have special events for local society. For example, this week, we are going to hand out an Easter egg to local residents in main streets.

<a letter of thanks>
Dear Nancy
I’m writing to thank you for your kindness and helps in 2011 in Egypt.
I still remembered good memory that I and our team had experience with you. That was so exciting and meaningful. At that time, you know, I felt uneasy about doing mission in English. So you not only helped me have confidence but also sometimes interpreted Korean to English for us. Thanks to your helping, we could favorably do mission. You and our team went to the Nile and sailed the river with praising. The experience was really good event! So I never forgot the day.
And I felt that you are so friendly and kind. So I thought that if I’m to be a good English speaker, I wish assist the person who needs the same helps like me.
And I remembered the day that you and I went to the square in the main street. In there we had a good time with looking around together and we had exciting time that exchanged our presents with each other. I still have had your gift – a diary note. Other day, we had to walk to the hospital to volunteer in summer day! The day was so sunny and hot so that it was hard to do. Whenever I recalled the day, I cannot help laughing.
Nancy, thank you again for aid and miss you and I hope you visit Korea as soon as possible.
Best wishes
